Collection: Janet Ayliffe

Janet Ayliffe is well-renowned South Australian artist whose work can be found in collections all across Australia and the world. Using a combination of techniques – such as solar plate etching, watercolour painting and archival digital printing – Janet creates stunningly detailed, imaginative works of art, which often depict scenes featuring native Australian flora and fauna. Having grown up living on Kangaroo Island, and then moving to the Adelaide Hills, Janet's art reflects her connection to these landscapes. Part of Janet's long career is an artist has also involved travelling around Australia to hold workshops and teach art.
